Frequently Asked Questions

  • We require that someone be available to receive all our flower deliveries. We also require a working, local phone number for all deliveries.

    Deliveries to businesses: We require a phone number for the recipient as some buildings will not accept perishable deliveries, and we need to call the recipient or representative to come to the lobby to accept the flowers. We cannot take responsibility if the recipient is away from the office or out of town. If the flowers are not accepted for those reasons, you will need to place another order for another time.

    Deliveries to residences: We will contact the recipient to arrange a 2-hour window of time when someone can be home to receive the flowers. If, after setting up a delivery time, they are not home when the delivery arrives, the sender will be required to pay a return fee as well as a re-delivery fee before we will attempt another delivery.

  • To treat our work with the utmost of care, all of our arrangements are hand-delivered. We use a reliable courier service that is skilled at delivering our arrangements.

  • While we cannot guarantee a specific time for delivery we do offer delivery windows. When you place your order you will have the opportunity to choose a delivery window. If you have any particular questions you may always call us at 301 651-7384.

  • Yes, of course. We are more than happy to have you visit our studio and pick up your order. Simply choose Pick Up in the delivery portion of the checkout process. *Please note that subscriptions are delivery only.

  • We are open 9-5 Monday through Friday and 10am - 4pm on Saturdays.

  • We are located at 2 Little Harbor Way, Annapolis, MD. 21403.

  • As flowers are perishable goods, all sales are non-refundable. However, we take great pride in the integrity and quality of our work at Fig & Flower, and would like for you to enjoy our beautiful arrangements as much as we do. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with the arrangement you have received, please contact us within 24 hours so we might have the opportunity to resolve the issue.

  • I love the arrangements on your site, but I am looking for something a little different--do you create custom arrangements?We are always happy to accommodate special requests. Our bespoke services communicate to the personal taste and vision of each of our clients. Please bear in mind that if you are requesting special flowers we will need at least 24 hours to order them.   • To ensure your Fig & Flower arrangement stays looking its very best for as long as possible, please add fresh water daily. Direct sunlight is not recommended, and cooler room temperatures--65 to 72 degrees Fahrenheit--are ideal. Avoid placing your arrangement near heating or cooling vents, in drafty areas, or near any appliances that give off heat. For orchid plants, we recommend placing three ice cubes at the base of the plant--avoiding direct contact with the leaves--once weekly. If the area in which the plant has been placed is rather dry, this can be done twice weekly. Yellowing leaves are usually not a cause for alarm; the life cycle of an orchid dictates that occasionally a leaf or two will be lost to make room for a new one. Mushy roots are indicative of over-watering. Orchid plants bloom up to three weeks after purchase. Blooms will wilt and fall off after the plant is done blooming. The flower stem will turn brown. During this phase, the orchid is simply resting, and with continuous care will be ready to bloom once more in approximately a year's time.

  • We deliver on Wednesday afternoons. If you have a special request for delivery please call us at (301) 651-7384.

  • Due to various seasonal and regional availability some flowers may not always be available. Therefore, it is possible that the exact bouquet pictured or requested may not be available for delivery. In this event, we will deliver an arrangement with similar flowers and a container of equal value and beauty. Every effort will be made to maintain size, shape, and overall color schemes of an arrangement, there may be some variance due to designer interpretation. Our goal is your complete satisfaction. Every effort will be made to provide an arrangement of equal or greater value.
